MISSION STATEMENT:
The mission of Pocono Dome is to provide Monroe, Northampton and Lehigh County
residents with a state-of-the-art indoor field sport and exercise facility that
will raise the competitive advantage of local sports players. Also to provide wellness
coaching, exercise programs and boot camp to attack childhood and adult
obesity. As an additional benefit,
families will be able to reunite and recapture time lost for personal
gratification through the
various diverse amenities provided. This facility will host leagues and
teams of all ages, from preschool to seniors.
Pocono Dome is slated to become a multi-sports and total fitness complex
created in and around the former Collectors' Cove complex in Sciota.
Buildings total 33,000 +/- square feet and the dome will be 47,000 +/- square
feet, for a total of 80,000 square feet. The 38 acre site has 1/2
mile frontage on 4-lane PA Rt. 33. Our "territory neutral" location allows
teams from all areas to use the facility without encroachment into other teams'
home turf.
The dome itself will cover the center courtyard field in inclement weather,
see
the "complex" page and "views" page for the layout,
